Social Dancing
Social Dancing will return to the clubrooms on Saturday, March 15th with music from Declan Aungier. Doors open at 8pm with music starting at 8.30pm. Refreshments will be served on the evening.
Kevin Mullen Shield R4
O’Connell’s GFC picked up their first win of the year on Sunday, March 9th against a spirited St. Nicholas GFC team to keep their hopes of retaining the Kevin Mullen Shield alive. A game very much decided by goals, O’Connell’s managed to find three, all in the second half, to ensure victory was secured. Congratulations to Ciarán Kearney who made his senior debut in the game. O’Connell’s GFC will return to action on Thursday vs Westerns GFC. Best of luck to Louth GAA who travel to Páirc Ui Chaoimh on Sunday, March 16th to take on Cork in a crucial game for both team’s division 2 survival. Louth won the last meeting between the two teams, when a late Sam Mulroy free kick sent Louth into their first ever All Ireland Quarter-Final back in June

Óg Sport U8 & U10 Blitzes
The 2025 Óg Sport Indoor Blitzes finished on Saturday, March 8th with the fifth and final round of games. A massive thank you to all the players, parents and coaches who helped contribute over all the blitzes. Thank you aswell to DKIT Sport indoor facilities for hosting the blitzes through the five weeks.
