Kevin Mullen Plate SF
O’Connell’s GFC kept their hopes of silverware alive on Saturday, with a 3-13 to 2-09 victory over St. Nicholas. A game in which O’Connell’s started slowly, three two-pointers in a row in the middle of the first half allowed the team to take control of the game. An early second half goal all but secured the victory, with the third goal late on putting the game completely beyond doubt. O’Connell’s GFC will take on Sean McDermotts in the Kevin Mullen Plate final. O’Connell’s GFC: Ciarán Kearney, Adam Flynn, Jack McGeough, Tadgh Kearney, Alan McGovern, Stuart Osbourne, Nathan Carragher, Justin Cooney, James
Walsh, Harry Kierans (0-1), Niall Conlon (2-5 (0-4 2p)), T.J Conlon, Conall Clerkin (0-1), Robert Quigley (1 6 (0-3 f)(0-4 2p)), Bernard Osbourne. Subs: David Hoey for T.J Conlon (43), Jake Kearney for A. Flynn (57)
Underage Roundup

A good first outing for the U18 team, they will return to action on Thursday when they take on St. Josephs. The u16 team were next to get their campaign started when they took on Naomh Fionnbarra in Stabannon. A game with a lot of goals, St. Micheals point scoring won the game in the end, with the game finishing 5-15 to 5-4 in favour of St. Micheals.
