O’Connell’s GFC Travelled to Stonetown to take on Annaghminnon Rovers on Saturday, May 17th in Division 3. A game with nine goals, O’Connell’s managed to find the back of the net eight times to ensure that victory would be secured by a comfortable margin. O’Connell’s GFC had six different goalscorers on the night, with Adam Flynn, Sean Cairns, Niall Conlon, Harry Kierans, Evan Kearney and Cian Geeney all putting the ball past the Annaghminnon goalkeeper. Louth U20 Team through to All-Ireland Final
Congratulations to first-team player Justin Cooney and the rest of the Louth U20 team who defeated Mayo on Friday, May 16th to progress to the All- Ireland final v Tyrone. This is the first time that a Louth team ahs made the Al-Ireland final at this age grade and is a massive achievement for the county. The game against Tyrone will take place on Wednesday, May 28th in the Gaelic Grounds in Armagh. The best of luck to all.
