Kevin Mullen Shield R3

Following the postponement of Saturday’s Kevin Mullen Shield game, O’Connell’s are now tasked with playing two games across three days this week as we play the re-fixed game against the Westerns on Thursday evening in Darver, followed by a trip to Dunleer on Saturday afternoon.

Allianz National League Round 4

Louth picked up a competitive victory in Drogheda for the first time in six years on Sunday as they overcame Down on a 2-17 to 0-22 scoreline. Louth, with the help of 0-10 from the boots of Sam Mulroy, took one step closer to survival in division two ahead of a crucial run of games. With only four points separating the top and bottom of the table, it is all to play for as Louth welcome neighbours Monaghan to Drogheda on Sunday, March 2nd.

O’Connell’s GFC Club Website

The new O’Connell’s GFC Club Website will launch soon. The website will be the new home of the newsletter, along with match reports, club events, lotto and bingo results and much more. To find the website after the launch, just search O’Connell’s GFC on Google or any other browser.

Club Registration Evening

The O’Connell’s GFC Registration evening will take place on Friday, February 28th in the clubrooms from 6.30pm to 8pm. All underage teams will be represented on the evening for sign-up, as well as signups for the Mothers & Others team. All children who register on the night will receive a piece of O’Connell’s GFC club gear, and there will be a free disco on the night as the registration is taking place.

O’Connell’s GFC Healthy Club Spring Step Challenge

In conjunction with Irish Life, O’Connell’s GFC Healthy Club is inviting the community to join in the MyLife Spring Step Challenge from February 26th to March 18th.
