Allianz National League Round 5
Louth were dismantled by a dominant first half display from Monaghan on Sunday, March 3rd as the wee county fell to a 1-21 to 1-27 defeat. Monaghan scored 15 points in the opening 20 minutes in what was really a game of two halves. Louth fought back valiantly in the second half, with Captain Sam Mulroy scoring 1-12, but it wasn’t to be enough as three points was the closest the gap ever got. Louth will travel to take on Cork on March 16th in what is a crucial game in the fight for survival.
