Allianz National League Round 2

Louth returned to Drogheda for a league match for the first time since 2019 when the Wee County welcomed Roscommon to the Gaelic Grounds on Sunday, February 2nd. Despite losing all-star Craig Lennon to an early injury, Louth put up strong opposition to a Roscommon team who showed their division 1 experience, coming out eventual 1-17 to 1-15 victors. It was a promising display for Louth, who will take a lot of positives from the chances they created throughout the game. Louth will travel to Breffni Park in two weeks to take on Cavan side who currently sit bottom of the division.

DKIT’s Trench Cup semi-final will take place on Thursday evening with the opposition to be confirmed following a refixed game between SETU Waterford and TUS Midwest on Tuesday evening. The freshers team continue their championship group stage against Trinity College on Thursday evening, as the team looks to build on last week’s 1-11 to 0-9 win over St. Marys University
